A fabulous and rare Victorian desk or counter bell cast in solid brass in the form of an Elephant's head retaining his two small glass eyes.

The mechanical bell is wound from the underside and the two tusks pressed to ring the bell.

Excellent condition measuring 6 1/4" x 4 1/2" x 2 3/4" tall. Victorian in era, dating to c.1880.
