The friezes of the table with finely-reeded mouldings creating reserves and panels . The edges of the folding top with reeded edges . The top swivels and folds to reveal a panelled void below for storage.

An elegant and stylish table drawing it's design from the re-visited classical cultures of the Regency period , with the lyre associated with classical music and poetry of the gods of Ancient Greece and Rome.

In excellent original condition, has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops. The high-grade mahogany of a rich consistent patina and colour .Minor historic marks and blemishes, commensurate with age and use. Flat top with no warps or distortion.
