Silver Topped Malacca Sword Stick

Description

In excellent condition this sword stick is hallmarked for London 1889 and made by Henry Howell & Co (Jonathan Howell) of Old Street, London EC. It has a fullered blade that still has some of the original blueing and gilded scroll work apparent. On the end of the knop it has initials - BKN - or any combination of the three letters as they are arranged in an interlocking pattern. It ends in a chunky brass ferrule.
