Antique late 17th century country oak drop leaf dining table c1680

This is a lovely antique late 17th century country oak drop leaf dining table and dating from around 1680. Constructed from solid oak it has a rounded edge to the oval plank top and there is a drawer to one end which is oak lined and with turned knob handle. It stands on turned and block gate legs joined by squared stretchers. It is hand & peg joined.

It is in very good condition with good colour and original patination to the oak oozing the history , charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 28" high X 17.5" closed X 55" open with both leaves X 48" wide
