Description

Lovely antique georgian regency mahogany chest of drawers c1800

This is a lovely georgian regency mahogany chest of drawers and dating from around 1800. It has a reeded edge to the top with deep mahogany cross banded frieze with deep satinwood inlaid banded edge above two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with original brass handles and ivoreen escutcheons. It stands on splayed bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze.

A lovely regency chest

It is in very good condition and it oozes the charm and character of the georgian period. It has a lovely deep colour and original patination and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase. There is a small fine grain line to one side of the top please see the photograph however this really does not detract from this lovely chest.

Measurements: 40" high X 20" deep X 43" wide
