Description

Lovely pair antique art nouveau walnut ladies & gents library chairs c1890:

A lovely pair art nouveau walnut chairs and dating from aorund 1890. They have a walnut carved pedament top with reeded side supports and deep padded back with upholstered armrests above a shaped and carved walnut supports and a deeply padded stuff over seat seat. They stand on turned walnut legs on castors. They have their original horsehair upholstery and are covered in a lovely liberties style fabric totally in keping with the period & style of the chairs.

A lovely pair of art nouveau walnut chairs in very good condition being sound and solid and which ooze the charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 40" high X seat height 15" X depth 30" X width 28"

Ladies chair: 39" high X seat height 15" X 27" deep X 26" wide
