Georgian Regency Mahogany Side Hall Desk Chair C1780

Description

A lovely george 111 mahogany shield back side desk chair and dating from aorund 1780-1800. Constructed from solid mahogany it has a lovely shaped shield back with central carved & lyre shaped back slat with a stuff over seat covered in lovely pale satin damask. It has shepherds crook shaped and reeded arm rests and it stands on squared tapered and reeded tambor legs joined by squared stretchers.

A lovely mahogany georgian chair in very good condition and oozes the charm and character of the period in which it was made and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 38" high X seat height 17" X 21" deep X 23" wide
