Description

1920 Elite pocket watch from the Illinois Watch Company.

The watch has a high grade movement, grade 406 with 19 jewels, three adjustments and a whiplash regulator. It is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 3,787,022 dates it back to 1920.

The watch measures 42.5mm wide and 42.5mm high excluding the winding stem and loop. The case is a good quality 14k gold filled case manufactured by the Star Watch Case Company, based in Ludington, Michigan, and they manufactured from 1905 to 1982. The case back has a small indentation and there are some surface marks but overall the condition is very acceptable for a 1920 piece.

The lens is in good condition.

The two tone dial is beautifully detailed and is in good condition. The hour hand could possibly be a replacement as the finish is a slightly different shade.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
