Lovely Pair Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Single Bed Bedsteads C1900

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a lovely pair of antique edwardian inlaid mahogany bedsteads and dating from aorund 1900. Unfortunately the camera has not shown up the inlaid stringing on the photographs and they are strung in satinwood to the head and footboard and legs. They have a lovely shaped serpentine top with a deeply moulded edge and reeded sides finely strung in satinwood this is above a squared latted back rest. The footboard is the same apart from a mahogany panel to the base which has the same satineood stringing. They stand on squared and tapering legs again being finely strung and they have their original drop in irons.

They are in very good condition with a deep colour and original patination to the mahogany and ooze the charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys them will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: height to headboard 57" X height to footboard 42" X 80" long X 36" wide

Takes a standard single matress
