A Superb Victorian Four door Breakfront Bookcase in Pollard Oak, adjustable shelves in the upper section fixed on the lower sections, locks all in working order with key, original glass ,the base has four doors and a drawer with carved Oak handles. The condition and quality of this fine bookcase is exceptional, and it dismantles into 9 separate sections so will easily go into any room. Formally (recently) at Worksop Manor built circa 1760 by the Duke of Norfolk the architect being James Paine it was never fully complected and in 1838 sold to the Duke of Newcastle and incorporated into the Clumber Park Estate though Worksop Manor itself was sold by auction in 1890, Mary Queen of Scots was held at the first Worksop Manor in 1568.
