Large Antique Victorian Gilt Framed Mirror

Description

A large and impressive antique Victorian gilt framed wall mirror in original gilt finish. Rectangular in shape with cushion frame, this started life as a picture frame with a new mirror plate added to it. Could be used as a wall mirror or above a fireplace as an overmantle mirror.

Wood and gesso

Condition Report:

Lots of age and wear to frame. Original gilt finish, gilt missing in places. Mirror plate is modern and is not bevelled.
