Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The curved handle is made from horn and moves down to a wonderful silver mount beautifully engraved complimenting the swan. The mount has an oval cartouche which is not engraved and could be personalized with initials if desired.
The cane handle then moves down to a sterling silver mount again joining the large 4 1/2' magnifier. The glass is of course new, making is perfect for use today, good magnification, clarity and pristine condition.
The silver is of course hallmarked for London 1917 together with the makers mark H T.
Grand, elegant and very usable. Measuring 12" in length, this sure to impress.
