A wonderful and rare Victorian oval shaped burr walnut writing table. Of generous proportions and well made in walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The oval top is fitted with a sumptuous burgundy leather writing surface and is decorated with floral marquetry inlay of the finest quality. There is a single drawer to the front within the shaped freeze. This table is finished to the rear so could be free standing with a room if desired. It is further embellished with crisp brass mounts to the knees and feet. This wonderful table is offered for sale in excellent original condition with a lovely mellow colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
