Lovely Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Oak Chaise Longue Sofa and Matching Salon Chair C1890

Description

This is a lovely antique victorian art nouveau oak chaise longue and matching salon chair of quality and dating from around 1890. The chaise has a lovely high scrolled back rest with carved oak front support and a rolled and padded back rail with shaped oak to the end and a deep stuff over seat. It has its original horsehair upholstery and is covered in a soft velvet fabric. It stands on lovely turned oak legs.

Measurements: 33" high X seat height 15" X 27" deep X 68" long

The matching chair has squared side supports ending in squared caps and either side of a carved back rail. It has a deep padded back rest and padded arm rests on shaped oak reeded front supports. It has a deep stuff over seat and stands on lovely turned oak legs on castors.it has its original horsehair upholstery and covered in a soft velvet fabric.

Measurements: 47" high X seat height 16" X 30" deep X 28" long

This is a lovely matching pair in very good condition and oozes the charm and character of the period in which they were made. I am sure that whoever buys these will be very pleased with their purchase.
