Description

Fine quality 18th century Georgian mahogany bureau circa 1750 .

The bureau has been made of the finest materials of the time ( Brazilian mahogany and English oak ) It has a wonderful grain and fine patina and wonderful proportions

The nicely fitted interior has drawers cubby holes a cupboard and two secret drawers , the central cupboard has a working lock and key , there is also a key for the fall .

All the drawers are oak lined and slide nice and smooth as they should .

overall this is a wonderful original English antique that is nearly 270 years old and a very sound investment piece . that would look great in a modern or period home
