The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed The Usher Mfg Co with an address of Vittoria Street, Birmingham.
In 1913, the business was relocated to Birmingham where a watch making studio was opened. This movement would have been bought in from Switzerland, possibly Phenix Watch Co, and then finished and cased in Birmingham. The Usher Manufacturing Company name was registered at the end of the 1930s and the continued trading until 1951. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel. There are a couple of pin prick “dings” to the back and an indentation although not too deep.
The watch glass is in good condition. There are some small nibbles to the bevelled edge but they are barely noticeable to the naked eye.

The white enamel dial is signed No-Mag 820, which we would presume refers to the movement being non-magnetic. There are two hairline cracks running across the dial. Breguet style hands in a blued steel finish, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
