1930s Limit Stem Winding Pocket Watch, Derbyshire

Description

A 1930s Limit stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality 17-jewel Swiss stem-winding movement, with a micro regulator, which is working well. The movement is signed and is all protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50.mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and is in good condition. The case back has a long service inscription from F H Drabble & Sons, a Derbyshire firm of bleachers and dyers.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The signed dial is in nice condition with original gold hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
