Description

Fine quality pair of French rosewood bedside cabinets c.1900. Designed to look like banks of drawers in fact they each feature one small drawer over a fall front cupboard with a marble base and a larger cupboard below. A true pair with left and right hand opening doors. Quarter veneered tops with shaped and moulded edges, moulded and quarter veneered fronts with original gilded handles. Crisp carved detail to the corners, apron and feet, all repeated on the sides and rear. Raised on the original small wooden castors. Some old wear and repairs to the veneers on the tops. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
