Description

A French four glass mantel clock. An enamel dial with blued steel hands. The original case gilding with bevelled glass panels. Fluted front and side columns and stepped case top and bottom mouldings. A mercury compensating pendulum. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong by Marti of Paris. Circa 1885.
