This is a Victorian antique wall mirror in a giltwood and gesso frame featuring a Jasperware plaque, c.1890.

Beautifully contrasted giltwood and Wedgewood blue, ovular frame

Fluted lower mount rises into fruited caps

Gesso swag appliqué sinuously mount blue frieze

Wedgewood Jasperware plaque depicting two lovers on a swing

Framed by a ring of gilded beads

Quality broad bevelled ovular mirror plate

Rope mount secured to brass loops and dressed with tassle finish
