Description

A Somerset double fusee dropdial wall clock with a convex painted dial. A cast brass bezel with a convex glass in a rosewood case with the original side carvings. Brass case inlays and a visible pendulum aperture. An 8-day duration twin fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell of good quality.

The convex dial is signed 'James Kebby, Taunton'. The clock dates to circa 1840.
