The hinged lid with canted edges, opening to a sandalwood and velvet lined interior. The body with continuing parquetry inlays, within rosewood and strung borders. The box standing on four silver plated shaped bon feet. The whole in the Moorish, or Anglo Indian form, inlaid in metal and mother of pearl. In very good condition throughout.
