A Joseph Stubbs of Longport, Staffordshire, Pearlware Glazed Blue & White Plate, circa 1830, printed with a scene titled 'Fair Mount Near Philadelphia' and with a 'Spread Eagle' border.

The view is one of a series and depicts the Dam and Waterworks and Schuylkill buildings at Fairmount, Philadelphia

with three kiln stilt marks on the front

the plate is in good condition other than there is a rim flake to the underside which has been re-glued (see photographs) otherwise there is no wear or scratching to the glaze
