Description

A splendid burr walnut writing table, or desk, in the queen Anne style. Of very good construction in solid walnut and attractive burr walnut veneers. The serpentine shaped top is fitted with a sumptuous black leather writing surface and is edged with a gadrooned border. There is an arrangement of 1 long central drawer flanked by two pairs of graduated shorter drawers. This table is finished to the rear so could be free-standing within a room if desired. It stands on elegant cabriole legs with crisply carved decoration to the knees and terminating in "hairy lions paw" feet. This lovely table is offered for sale in excellent overall condition with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office.
