A grand large magnifying glass dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian period having been professionally re-polished to gleam. The glass is perfect with a good magnification.

The handle is made from turned Ebony wood and signed by the manufacturer, John Wood & Sons. Excellent condition dating to c.1900. An impressive size measuring 11 1/4" in length with a glass diameter measuring 4 1/2".
