Description

A 19th Century Silver and Cut Glass Claret Jug.

The hinged lid with a shell designed thumb grip, the domed centre, with an orb and spire finial. The collar with a concave spout, and rounded triangular handle. The silver work with floral swagged decoration throughout. The body decorated with star burst topped diamond panels, and the circular foot cut with a starburst.

Hallmarked for Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1891.
