Description

A very rare and unusual 19th Century mahogany Irish serving table, the front being concave and the back being convex, the top is crossbanded in rosewood with a carved moulding, the front legs carved at the top as lions heads sweeping down to a lions paw, the back legs with a boxed in robe twist ending again with a lions paw, the front and side rails with carved decoration with a robe twist moulding running around the bottom, an important piece of Irish furniture. Circa 1825.
