Description

A gents 9ct gold Marvin wrist watch, 1959.

The watch has a good quality hand-winding movement, calibre 520, which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1959. The case is in good condition and the back has a long service inscription from Smiths Dock which was a British shipbuilding company.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition and has the applied Marvin logo, original hands, subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A later strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
