Superb Lady's Dressing Case by Edwards

Description

A truly exceptional quality mid-19th century LADY'S DRESSING & JEWLLERY CASE in remarkably complete and original condition.

The finely figured brass-bound coromandel case opens to reveal the superbly fitted interior with 11 silver-topped (London 1853) bottles and jars all beautifully engraved and arranged around the central tray of finest quality tools and implements, some in silver.

A velvet-lined jewellery drawer can be found below whilst the lid contains the original easel mirror and leather folder, signed by Edwards in gilt. Complete with working Bramah key. 13ins x 10ins x 7.5ins (33 x 25.5 x 19cms)
