A beautiful French Art Deco Bronze sculpture of a bird set on a black marble base, signed in the marble BECQUEREL and stamped bronze as seen in the images attached. This bronze sculpture is in lovely condition.

Andre Vincent Becquerel 1893- 1981

Born in St Andre Farivilliers France. He exhibited at the salon des Artistes Francais from 1914-1922. He studied under Lecourtier and Lemaine specialising in animal and child sculpture.
