Stunning 19th century French silver and niello snuff box with a repeating geometric design on all sides including the base. Gilded inside and marked inside the lid with the Minerva 2 mark denoting 800 silver and a maker's mark.

It measures 9cm long, 3.5cm wide and 2.8cm deep. It weighs 95g/3ozt.

Condition is excellent with no damage, dents or losses. The gilding on the flanges inside the lid is a bit rubbed from the action of opening and closing. The hinge is fine and it closes perfectly.
