The case has a superb drop dial bracket clock design with it looking like a bracket clock sitting on top of its wall bracket

The carved oak case has a good figured patina and colour to it which is acquired through age which looks absolutely stunning with the high quality carved designs decorating the whole of the case which gives it an awesome display look

The case is in great condition for age and looks absolutely stunning wherever it is displayed with no sign of woodworm past or present
To the centre of the clock case it is engraved with the makers date of circa 1874

The case has a superb circular carved surround with brass bezel hinged door protecting the painted dial with original victorian glass, there is a hinged door to both sides of the case which hinges open for easy access to the pendulum

The clock benefits from its original painted 13.5 inch diameter circular dial with original hands. The dial is signed by the maker James Langelaan of Godalming
The clock has its its original high quality brass 8 day twin fusee bell strike movement. The movement is of 8 day duration with its original pendulum and strikes the bell the number of hours on the hour

The movement is in excellent working order and comes with its original fusee pendulum and winding key
The clock measures a very impressive 40 inches high x 22.5 inches wide (at widest) x 8.25 inches deep (at deepest)
The dial measures 13.5 inches diam
