Antique Gothic Oak Double Sided Church Lectern

Description

A superb Gothic style lectern dating from the late 19th Century. The lectern originates from a church in Exeter, Devon and is double sided with a rotating top. It is a good quality piece made from oak and it is very solid and sturdy. There are beautiful carved panels in the sides and it stands on a carved four-footed base.

It is in good condition with no major damages. There are signs of age and use with some minor marks and knocks around the base but nothing detrimental. The wood has developed a lovely patina and it displays very nicely.
