A 1930s Rands Full Hunter Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1930s Rands full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The nicely jewelled movement is signed Rands, Swiss made and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.2mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10 ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has minor surface marking from use and a small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece. There are some nicely engraved initials to the back.

The winding crown pushes in open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens.

The dial is in lovely condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
