Description

We are pleased to offer for sale this delightful landscape oil on canvas by the Epsom, Surrey artist Arthur John Gadd, who has signed the painting in the lower left hand corner and entitled it verso 'February on the Common'. This is probably Epsom Common, a location that the artist often painted.

This is one of a pair of oils we are listing, painted at the same time by this artist in matching frames.

Arthur John Gadd was born on 12th December 1928 in Surrey and lived in Epsom. He married Glenys M. Winter in 1966. He painted mainly small landscapes in oils.

The painting is framed in a very nice ornate gilt frame and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
