Description

Thomas Deykin was born in 1677 at Walsall (Staffs) And was Worked at Broad Street Worcester - possibly in the former shop of his Father-in-law c1700. He married in 1703 and died in 1750. After about 1720 he numbered his clocks including 176, 183, 227, 247, 279, 311, 358, 407, 444, 466.
THIS CLOCK IN NOT NUMBERED AND THEREFORE DATES TO BEFORE 1720.
Making it in the Reign of William & Mary, Queen Anne or Early George I.
Attractive Oak Case with slender shaped hood columns. Attractive Spandrels to the Brass Dial. 8 day movement offered in Good & Full Antique Working Condition. Delivery & Set Up Service Available at Cost. Naturally, the case does show some signs of being around for this length of time but is very good overall condition.
