A fine original Victorian novelty brass vesta case for holding matches, in the form of William Gladstone in portrait, beautifully detailed it is stamped with a Registration number on the reverse with a strike strip and a hinged lid which clips shut. This fine match safe is in excellent overall condition measuring 2 inches in length.
