Description

Sweet pair of late 19th century silver plated pepperettes by Tiffany & Co. c.1890. Art nouveau influence of bulbous fluted bodies and cast flower and foliage detail around the top of the pots. Set on a collet base with 4 lion paw feet and arabesque detail. The lids are marked Tiffany & Co. Makers Silver Soldered and the model number 10582. Silver soldered was Tiffany's very good quality silver plate and references their use of hard silver solder at all the joints.

They measure 6.5cm (2 1/2") high and 3.2cm (1 1/4") wide. Condition is very good with no damage or repairs. There are a couple of small surface marks but overall wear is very light.
