The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Set on 3 flared feet with acanthus leaf and scallop shell decoration. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1812, maker S.C. Younge & Co.

It measures 6 1/4" wide and 6 3/4" including the handle. It is 4" high and the snuffer extends slightly above this. It weighs 312g/10ozt. Condition is very good; no damage or repairs to the body and very light surface wear. There is a fine spit near the end of the snuffer and the marks are a bit rubbed. The sconce has very slight distortion to the rim and flange and some rubbing to the high points of the decoration.
