Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Before 1700 period.
This is a very old piece, as far as I can find out it was found behind a 19th Century Fireplace. The panel shows various medieval looking religious figures, in each quarter of the panel.
Needless to say this is a very heavy piece, it is 55” high and 22” wide
