A charming Japanese Meiji period ivory netsuke depicting a young boy sat cross-legged pointing to his face with one hand whilst hiding his noh mask behind his back with the other. This splendid netsuke is beautifully detailed and has developed a wonderful honey colour over the years, it is in excellent condition and sits 1 ¾ inches tall.
