Old Dome Top Pine Box Chest C.1800's

Description

Lovely old dome top box chest dating from the late 1800's, in very good solid condition for its age. Each side has the original carrying handle, and there is the original wooden knob to the lid.

Inside the box you'll find the original candle box.

Recently stripped to the bare wood, it is now ready for waxing or painting.

These chest's make excellent shoe storage boxes, toy boxes, or as originally intended a blanket box at the end of your bed.
