Antique Shapland & Petter Mahogany Kneehole Desk C1890 £425

Quality antique victorian mahogany shapland & petter kneehole desk c1890

This is a lovely quality mahogany pedastal desk and dating from aorund 1890 by the esteemed furniture makers shapland & petter for which every lock on this lovely desk is stamped with the shapland & petter stamp. It has a moulded edge to the top above two graduating drawers to either side with one long drawer to the centre above a shaped frieze with shelf above the kneehole. All of the drawers are mahogany lined and it has its original brass handles and escutcheons. It stands on carved and squared legs on castors.

This is a superb quality antique mahogany pedastal desk and in very good condition with a lovely colour and deep original patination and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 30" high X 24" to knee height X 22" deep X 48" wide
