Description

A large, Georgian, figured walnut bureau of generous proportions and having 4 oak lined, graduated and cross banded drawers with chased brass handles and escutcheons. The cross banded fall with brass escutcheon opens to reveal a fitted interior with 4 short and 2 long drawer with brass axe head pulls, 8 shaped pigeon holes and small centre cupboard with working lock and key. The writing surface having a replaced hand dyed leather with blind and gold tooling. The whole raised on bracket feet with oak sides and linings and working locks and keys.

Dimensions - Height 42’’ / 107cm. Width 41.25’’ / 105cm. Depth 20’’ / 51cm.
