Lovely antique george 111 country oak coffer c1780

This is a lovely and very large antique george 111 oak coffer and dating from aorund 1780. Constructed from solid oak it has a plank top with original iron strap & loop hinges and with a reeded frieze to the front above four fielded panels. It stands on squared legs with panelled sides and original rough hewn panelled back

It is hand & peg joined

A lovely original antique george 111 chest now with good colour and original patination . It is in very good condition oozing the charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 30" high X 24" deep X 55" wide
