~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A rare and very decorative silver plated Antique French Rococo wall clock. Stunning asymmetric design with scrolling foliage and floral swags.

The dial is porcelain enamel on copper with cream ground and separate minute ring. The hands are finely fretted and silvered brass.
The French movement is of high quality and is by the well known company Samuel Marti. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video clip available of the clock running.

Condition of the case is excellent, the silver plate is clean and bright and freshly lacquered to help to prevent tarnish. The dial is also very good with some hairlining and a slight mark near the right hand winding hole.

Samuel Marti clockmaker's mark on the movement backplate along with the retailers mark of Francois Blanc of Marseille
