Antique English Silver Plated Cake Stand C.1900

Description

A most attractive Edwardian two-tier cakestand, made from English silver plate, the stand marked on the underside with the silversmith's initials ( I believe for the Birmingham Guild of Handicrafts ) and EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver).

The two plates have a wonderful pierced or reticulated border, quite beautiful.

Dating to around 1900 / 1910, it remains in superb condition and ready for your freshly baked goodies!

The footprint of the stand 8 3/4" x 6 1/2" and stands 13" tall; each plate has a diameter measuring 7".
