Description

A lovely burr walnut chest on chest, or tallboy, in the Queen Anne style. Well made in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers and of serpentine form. It separates into two sections for ease of installation. The top section has canted corners and a series of 2 short over 3 long , graduated, drawers. The bottom section has a brushing slide over 3 long, graduated, drawers and stands on bracket feet. All drawers are fitted with their original brass swan neck handles and are cross banded to the fronts. This charming chest on chest offers a large amount of storage capacity. We have had it sympathetically repolished to a very high standard and it now has a great colour and patina. It is offered for sale in overall excellent condition,, ready to go straight into the home.
