Lovely George I Britannia standard silver lemon strainer with pierced lug handles with scrolled foliate decoration. A cartouche on each handle, one is engraved with the owner initials B G M. Hallmarked for London 1719 with the Britannia mark, lion's head erased and maker's mark for John Albright. The handles are marked to the reverse with the lion's head erased.

It measures 15cm across the handles, 8cm rim to rim and 3cm high. It weighs 58g/1.9ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage, dents or repairs. Surface wear is light and the hallmarks are clear.
