A Superb Bohemian Overlay Glass Scent Bottle

Description

A superb bohemian overlay glass scent bottle. The large globe and shaft body is of cased cranberry and white and has cut through panels. The body and stopper have extensive gilding, including hand painted detail to the cranberry panels. To the base is a polished pontil mark. This stunning 19th Century example is a wonderful and decorative collector's item, still usable today. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no cracks to the body. There are some nibbles to the base of the glass stopper and three flea bites to the base, commensurate with age and use.
